McDonald's flagship restaurant in Edinburgh's Princes Street as well as the restaurant at North Shields, Tyne & Wear have been given a stylish new look, designed to appeal to customers seeking an internet café environment with muted
colours, more sophisticated furniture and finishes and free WiFi.
In the case of the Princes Street restaurant, materials supplied by Rearo included ornate laminated wall panels. (High level wall panels faced with Polyrey Papago (B015) Blanc Menuires. Low level wall panels and counter fascia faced with Polyrey (C047) Chene Wenge.)
Rearo also supplied Abet (1354) Zebrano real wood veneered solid core fire doors with bespoke feature engraving through-out the store.
McDonalds added a zesty life feeling by introducing dramatic laminate self colours such as Polyrey (P092) Pomme Verte and Abet (897) Brown Grainwood with a strong structured texture, throughout the store.
Corian surfaces were all used extensively throughout the store including, servery counter tops, surfaces in the staff area and in the customer toilets. (Colours used: Corian: - Vanilla, Midnight and Glacier White.)
