Rearo Laminates are one of the UK’s leading laminate fabricators supplying high-pressure laminate and solid surfacing components to all sectors of the construction industry throughout the UK.  Due to recent expansion the company is looking to fill the following vacancies.

ENGINEERING AND SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER

Working as part of a small team the successful candidate‘s key responsibilities will form a dual role to manage our engineering function and operate as the company’s Health and Safety & Environmental Officer. 

Qualified to HND level in Mechanical Engineering the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of Rearo’s state of the art woodworking shop including several computer controlled machining centres, high volume bonding equipment and transport fleet.

Also qualified to NEBOSH (or similar occupational qualification.) the candidate will chair the company’s Health and Safety and Environmental comities and will be responsible for the generation of all risk assessments, COSSH reports and accident investigations.  The board of Directors has committed to gain accreditation to ISO 9002 2000, ISO 14000 & ISO 18000 Academic and practical experience of introducing and implementing these international standards into a large complex organisation is therefore a pre-requisite.
