Rearo Sponsors 'The Football Years' - Competition Winner
The second series STV's "The Football Years" sponsored by
Rearo has now finished. Hopefully you managed to catch an episode
or two featuring the drama, the highs and the lows and the
excitement featured within Scotland's national game. A few of our
own highlights included the arrival of Greame Souness to 'kick
start' the Ibrox Revolution or what about the Celtic
versus Athletico Madrid Match of 1974?
The response to our 'bumper' advertising has been
a great success and we at Rearo are proud to be associated with a
superbly produced show.
At the start of the series we invited all our Rearo customers to
enter our competition. We are delighted to
announce that the
winning entry
which was drawn by STV sports
presenter Gerry McCulloch was
Ian
Rubython of
Assab.
The winning answer was off course Joe
Jordan who managed 2 goals in the 1974 World Cup Finals held
in West Germany, before
going on to feature in the 78, 82 & 86 World
Cup
s.
Ian has won a day out at Rearo's table at the next St Mirren v
Celtic SPL match where he will enjoy fantastic
hospitality and some buddy banter. The fixtures are due out in mid
June.
