ECO - Recycled Surfaces

ECO is a new eco-friendly product created from recycled products, using an entirely environmentally friendly process.

ECO is an original product manufactured from 75% of recycled materials such as mirror, glass, porcelain, earthenware, and vitrified ash. The remaining 25% is made up from a blend of quartz, natural stone, resin and pigments. Even 94% of the water used in its manufacturing process is re-used.

ECO is a new product that embraces sustainability, design and quality that has produced a new category of recycled surfaces. These are an ecological alternative to similar surfaces available for construction and decoration.

ECO has been created by a comprehensive research and development project carried out by the multinational Spanish company Cosentino®.  All the manufacturing processes comply with high environmental standards; which makes ECO a highly sustainable and unique product.

Its beautiful design, available in a range of popular colours, is manufactured with high standards of physical-mechanical properties. Whilst the material is of a rigid construction it allows for a natural level of flexibility which is ideal in the handling and manufacturing processes.

The hardness rating being between 5 and 7 on the Mohs scale. ECO also has an extremely low rate of water absorption and porosity, making it an ideal material for bathrooms and kitchens.

The result is a compact and hard surface highly resistant to impact, chemical products and scratches. It is a product with an unbeatable quality and style which can be used both in construction and decoration
